BMW i3 Electric

Innovation & Tech Today recently spent some time at the Denver Auto Show, and we saw some really cool innovations occurring in the automotive industry. One of the most intriguing cars I saw was the new BMW i3 electric. Full disclosure: I drive a BMW 1984 325e, and have been a fan of “Beemers” since I was in high school. Initially, I had some reservations about the i3 because of how radically different it looks compared to other BMWs. However, the technology in the car is undeniably fascinating so I wanted to learn more about this new direction the company is taking. Thankfully, Matt Rebeck from BMW was kind enough to sit down and tell me a little more about the i3. Innovation & Technology Today  : It’s nice to meet you Matt, so what do you do for BMW? Matt Rebeck:  I work at Ralph Schomp BMW in Highlands Ranch, Colorado as a BMW Genius. I was the first BMW Genius in Colorado. I&TT:  What is a BMW Genius? MR:  The Genius program is new...

Here is all you wanna know for MCB, including miniature circuit breaker wiki, miniature circuit breaker working principle, MCB types, MCB rating, MCB sizes, miniature circuit breaker function, miniature circuit breaker construction, miniature circuit breaker applications, and also advantages of miniature circuit  breaker.  Miniature Circuit Breaker Wiki (Wikipedia): Miniature circuit breaker (short as MCB) can be also called as mini circuit breaker, micro circuit breaker, etc. It is a widely used appliance for terminal protection, working as protection from short circuit, overload, over voltage and etc. in both single phase and three phase system with rated current up to 125A. It normally includes four types of 1P, 2P, 3P, 4P. Miniature Circuit Breaker Construction: Miniature circuit breaker is configured with operating mechanism, contacts, protection devices (all types of releases), arc-extinguishing system, etc. For more details, please...

Molded Case Circuit Breaker Definition and Function: A  molded case circuit breaker , abbreviated MCCB, is a type of electrical protection device that can be used for a wide range of voltages, and frequencies of both 50 Hz and 60 Hz. The main distinctions between molded-case and miniature circuit breaker are that the MCCB can have current ratings of up to 2,500 amperes, and its trip settings are normally adjustable. An additional difference is that MCCBs tend to be much larger than MCBs. As with most types of circuit breakers, an MCCB has three main functions: Protection against overload – currents above the rated value that last longer than what is normal for the application. Protection against electrical faults – During a fault such as a short circuit or line fault, there are extremely high currents that must be interrupted immediately. Switching a circuit on and off – This is a less common function of circuit breakers, but they can be used for that purpose i...
